Mr. Rajpal Thakur, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “i) Issue a writ in the nature of Certiorari and quash the impugned order dated 09.12.2025 (Annexure P-3) passed by respondent No.2; ii) Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:6286 respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer to a nearby station 1. GPS Kamoutha Edu Block Kalhel Chamba, 2. GCPS Dugli Edu Block Kalhel Chamba, 3. GCPS Kalhel Edu Block Kalhel Chamba, 4.GPS Kandla Education Block Kiani Chamba., particularly under couple case policy and against available vacancy; iii) Direct the respondents to reconsider the representation of the petitioner in a fair, reasonable and time-bound manner.” 3. The petitioner is aggrieved by order dated 09.12.205, Annexure P-3, in terms whereof, the representation of the petitioner for his posting out of his present place of posting on the ground of couple case has been rejected by the Authority by observing that the school where the petitioner is presently serving has only two school teachers and in case the petitioner is transferred, then the school shall be left with only one teacher. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner informed the Court that the sanctioned strength of the said school is only two. 5. In light of the fact that according to the petitioner, he 3 2026:HHC:6286 has been serving in the said school i.e. Government Primary School Bhandar, Education Block Sundla, District Chamba, for the last six years, without interfering with the order under challenge, this petition is disposed of with the direction that in light of the stay of the petitioner, he be transferred out of his present place of posting when general transfers are effected by the Education Department after the completion of the academic session, because the petitioner cannot be continued in a station for a long time and someone else should also be posted in the said school. While effecting the transfer of the petitioner, his request for adjustment on the ground of couple case, be taken into consideration along-with the administrative exigency of the Department. 6.
