In this petition, petitioners are seeking direction to the respondent No.2 to admit and entertain the Revision Petition filed by the petitioners and to consider the same in accordance with law. 3. Heard Smt. Lakshmi A.N. Rao, learned counsel on behalf of Sri. M. Jagadeesh, appearing for petitioners and Smt. Sharada H.V., learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4. 4. Smt. Lakshmi A.N. Rao, learned counsel appearing for petitioners, by inviting the attention of the Court to the order dated 12th June, 2025 (Annexure-K), submits that the respondent No.3 has remitted the matter to the respondent No.4 to consider the claim of the respondent No.5 herein. Accordingly, she submits that the said order passed by the respondent No.3 was challenged by the petitioners before the respondent No.2 by preferring the Revision Petition under Section 136(3) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, however, the same has been refused to entertain by the respondent No.2. Accordingly, she sought for interference of this Court. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34931 WP NO.20677 OF 2026 5. Per contra, Smt. Sharada H.V., learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4 sought to justify the fact that the petitioners have not filed any Revision Petition before the respondent No.2. Accordingly, she sought for dismissal of the petition. 6. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on perusal of the averments made in the writ petition, it is not in dispute that the respondent No.3 has passed an order dated 12th June, 2025 (Annexure-K) in Case No.R.A.(YLK)188/2022 and the petitioners herein have approached the respondent No.2 challenging the said order passed by the respondent No.3 under Section 136(3) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act. Therefore, I am of the view that the petitioners shall approach the respondent No.2 and agitate their rights challenging the order passed by the respondent No.3 by 13th July, 2026 in accordance with law. Accordingly, I pass the following: O R D E R (i) Writ Petition allowed; - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34931 WP NO.20677 OF 2026 (ii) The respondent No.2 is directed to accept the revision petition that may be filed by the petitioners 13th July, 2026 and consider the same in accordance with law; (iii) It is made clear that, the respondent No.4 shall not take any coercive steps against the petitioners in Case No.RRTDisp/71/2026 in terms of Notice Dated 21st April, 2026 (Annexure-A) till the orders that may be passed by the respondent No.2 in the Revision Petition preferred under Section 136(3) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act.
