1. The present contempt application has been filed alleging willful and deliberate violation of the Court’s order dated 21.1.2026.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the alleged contemnors submits that there has been a delay of three months in compliance with the order dated
21.1.2026.
3. It is submitted that as the records pertain to a very old matter and were difficult to trace, causing delay in compliance with the
order dated
21.1.2026.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the alleged contemnor has filed a compliance report along with two demand drafts in favour of the petitioner.
2 One such demand draft is on account of HSD to the tune of Rs. 4,29, 452.88 bearing cheque no. DD 760812 dated 3.7.2026 from ICICI Bank and another demand draft bearing No. 000644 dated 7.7.2026 for an amount of Rs. 95,405.90 from Axis Bank.
5. The two demand drafts have been handed over to the petitioner in Court today.
6. Let the Xerox copies of the two demand drafts along with compliance report filed by the alleged contemnor be retained and kept on record.
7. This Court is satisfied that the directions passed in WPA 28150 of 2025 have been duly complied with.
8. Considering the explanations tendered by the alleged contemnors, this Court finds that although there has been an inordinate delay of three months in compliance with the order, the reasons for such delay have been sufficiently explained. Accordingly, the delay for three months in non- compliance of the order dated 21.1.2026 is hereby condoned.
9. As the grievance stands redressed, the contempt proceeding are hereby dropped.
10. Accordingly, there is no necessity of keeping the contempt application pending.

11. The contempt application is accordingly
disposed of.
12. The Rule if any, is hereby discharged.
13. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
