Learned Senior Counsel Sri.Subramanya Jois, appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner-Trust - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19359 WP No. 28157 of 2025 has made a request to the respondent authorities, more particularly, respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Urban District, in terms of the representation dated 11.01.2017 at Annexure-G and the subsequent representations at Annexure-K and S dated 18.03.2021 and 26.12.2024/06.01.2025 requesting for grant of 1 acre and 5 guntas of land in Sy.No.28 of Arehalli village, Uttarahalli Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk. Since the respondents have not passed any orders till date, the prayer in the writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to consider the representation given by the petitioner and pass necessary orders within a time frame. 3. Having regard to the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner-Trust, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Urban District, to consider the representation given by the petitioner at Annexures-G, K & S and pass necessary orders as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19359 WP No. 28157 of 2025 Ordered accordingly.
