Ms. Arushi Rathore …for the defacto complainant. Mr. Koustav Lal Mukherjee …for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 1 year. The main ground on which bail has been prayed is delay in institution of the case. There were earlier observations of the Co-ordinate Bench while consideration of bail application which reflects that the post- mortem report state that death was due to abdominal injuries, ante-mortem in nature and homicidal in manner. Having considered the observations made by the Co- ordinate Bench and the gravity of the offence, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 2 Accordingly, CRM (M) 1117 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
