Shri Samaresh Mondal Mr. Manjit Singh Mr. Biswajit Mal Mr. Arkaprabho Roy ….for the petitioner The petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the learned trial judge to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.48901 of 2014 expeditiously. The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that though the matrimonial suit has been fixed for arguments and the arguments were heard in part but the matrimonial suit has not yet been disposed of. After going through the order sheets appended to this application this Court finds that on several dates the hearing of the matrimonial suit was adjourned in view of the resolution of the local Bar Association. It further appears that the Presiding Officer is not available. After the regular Presiding Officer joins an endeavour shall be made to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.48901 of 2014 as expeditiously as possible keeping in mind that the suit is a matrimonial suit pending from the year 2014 and at the stage of argument. The learned Presiding Officer is requested to refuse any prayer for unnecessary adjournment on the date fixed for hearing. 2 In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, CO 1361 of 2026 stands disposed of.
