Heard Mr. A Bhattacharyya, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. The present contempt petition is filed alleging willful violation of order dated 31.03.2021, passed in WP(C) No.2340/2021. 3. The claim of the petitioner is that although he has retired as Night Chowkidar on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.10.2018, from Assam Plantation Crops Development Corporation Limited, he has not been paid leave encashment and gratuity due to him. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent No.5 within a period of one month and the respondent No.5 to take a decision on the payment of leave encashment and gratuity as entitled within a period of three months. 5. Mr. A Dey, learned counsel for the respondent has Page No.# 3/3 produced a receipt and an acknowledgement from the petitioner Narani Boro, w/o late Rajen Boro showing that she has been paid the retirement benefit (Gratuity and Leave Encashment) after the same was released by the Government on 01.03.2025. 6. A copy of the said release order as well as the acknowledgement dated 01.03.2025, shall be kept on record. 7. In view of the above, the order dated 31.03.2021 passed in WP(C) No.2340/2021 stands complied with. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
