The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Corporation submits that the petitioner retired from service on medical grounds with effect from 14.10.2015. It is submitted that on account of the petitioner retiring on medical grounds, the cause in the writ petition would not survive. It is also submitted that the issue of operating the Ticket Issuing Machine by the drivers was not mandatory and it was optional. 4.
