This writ petition has been instituted challenging the show cause notice issued under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. 2. A show cause notice will not provide cause for instituting writ proceedings. The petitioner is at liberty to file his explanation along with the documents, if any, before the competent authority to defend his case. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that such a representation has already been submitted.
