Neutral Citation No. ( 2026:JHHC:28892 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 4343 of 2026 Anand Munda ... … Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand ... … Opposite Party --------- CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY --------- For the Petitioner : Mr. S.K. Vishwakarma, Advocate For the State : None --------- 02/25.09.2026 Heard Mr. S.K. Vishwakarma, learned counsel for the petitioner. Despite the name of Mr. P.D. Agrawal, learned Spl. P.P. being reflected in the cause list but none appears to represent the State. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No. 7502 of 2025 and B.A. No. 2535 of 2026. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 07.03.2025. It has further been submitted that out of 06 charge-sheet witnesses only 03 witnesses have been examined so far. Learned counsel also adds that the seizure list does not bare the signature of the petitioner. It appears that a headless dead body was recovered and in course of investigation the petitioner was apprehended and on his confession the head was recovered. Regard being had to the nature of allegations against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to him. His prayer for bail is rejected once again. Let a copy of this order be sent to the Principal Secretary, Department of Home, Jail & Disaster Management. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.) Dated, the 25th September, 2026 A.
