--- 02/30.03.2026 Heard Mr. Manish Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Hunterganj P.S. Case No. 171 of 2025.
It has been alleged that some unknown miscreants had snatched away the mobile and Rs.2000/- from the brother of the informant.
Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the looted mobile was recovered from the possession of the petitioner but he is in custody since
05.10.2025. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedents. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioner and the fact the he does not have any criminal antecedents, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Chatra in connection with Hunterganj P.S. Case No. 171 of
2025.
This application stands allowed.
