The petitioners are anticipating arrest in connection with Tufanganj Police Station Case No. 243 of 2026 dated 09.05.2026 under Sections 85/80 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 403 of 2026. 2. The post mortem report has been submitted which shows death of the victim due to effects of poisoning and anti mortem in nature. 3. Considering the materials on the case diary, particularly, the witnesses’ statement indicating involvement of the petitioners in commission of the alleged offence and in view of the seriousness of the offence alleged against them, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for 2 anticipatory bail of the petitioners and the same stands rejected. 4.
