Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 27th July, 2025 and till date only 3 witnesses have been examined out of 31 witnesses proposed to be examined. Learned advocate for the de facto complainant opposes the prayer for bail. Learned advocate for the State has drawn the attention of the Court to the materials appearing in the case diary. A copy of the deposition of the witnesses have also been placed before this Court. Having considered the evidence of the injured victim as 2 also the recovery and the manner in which the petitioner allegedly committed the offence, I am of the opinion that the offence complained of, if proved, would attract serious and severe punishment, as such, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Thus, the prayer for bail in CRM(M)2745 of 2025 is dismissed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
