The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent/MCD to demolish unauthorised construction carried out by the respondent no.6 at property bearing No. E 67/A Village Jasola South East Delhi. 2. Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/MCD, on advance notice, submits that the subject property is an old construction existing prior to 2012 and hence, is entitled to protection under NCT of Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Second (Amendment) Act, 2023.
3. Taking note of the aforesaid submission, the reliefs sought in the present writ petition cannot be granted.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
