(ORDER) 12.08.2026 Although the petitioner is seeking the quashment of FIR No. 37/2022 dated 7 June 2022, registered by Police Station, Harwan, Srinagar and the proceedings emanating therefrom, pending before the Court of 3rd Additional Munsiff, Srinagar, however, learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed that he would be satisfied if the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the proceedings. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of, by providing that the learned Trial Court shall expedite the proceedings and dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. However, the learned Trial Court shall be at liberty to seek extension in case matter could not be concluded within the stipulated period on justifiable reasons.
