Das .….. for the petitioners Mr. Sahasrangshu Bhattacharjee, learned AGP Mr. Arghya Chatterjee ….. for the State 1. Pursuant to the order dated June 22, 2026, the petitioners are present in Court. Their personal appearance is dispensed with. 2. Petitioner no. 1, is an employee, who has been declared as incapacitated. In his place and stead, petitioner no. 2, his son, has applied for appointment on compassionate ground. 3. However, in the meanwhile, as submitted by Mr. Bhattacharjee, learned Additional Government Pleader, first wife of the petitioner and her son, respondent nos. 6 and 7 herein, have also applied for appointment on compassionate ground. 4. In the circumstances, let the representation of the petitioners and that of respondent nos. 6 and 7, be considered by the respondent no. 3 in the presence of and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the 2 respondent nos. 6 and 7 along with the petitioners by August 31, 2026 with adequate prior notice. 5. Respondent no. 3 will dispose of the representation by a reasoned order by August 31, 2026 and communicate the resultant order therefrom to the petitioners, respondent nos. 6 and 7 as well as the authorities concerned by September 10, 2026. 6. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of. 7. There will be no order as to costs. 8.
