GP FOR SOCIAL WELFARE The Court made the following: ORDER: The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- “…to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus i declaring the impugned action of the 3rd respondent in issuing the impugned proceedings vide Letter No MD/Dir HR and IR/ CGM/Adm/GMHRL and lR/D No 21/2026 dt 30.04.2026 served on the petitioners on 04. 05. 2026 and 08. 05. 2026 as highly illegal arbitrary violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India ii dedaring the impugned action of respondents 4 and 5 in issuing Tender Notifications Nos. 01/202627/SE/C/USPSP/SLR/ DEET/ D No 86/2026, dt 08. 05. 2026 and Tender Notice No. 02/2026 27/SE/C0 and MC/SLR/Dy EET/AEET/D No 452/2627 dt 08. 05. 2026 and Tender Notice No 03/2026 27/CE/O and M/LSHES/EET/AEET/D No l46/202627 dt 08. 05. 2026 respectively as illegal arbitrary violative of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India consequently set aside the same and iii direct the respondents to consider for ear marking contract works both in civil and hiring of vehicles falling under Class 4 contracts in favour of local SCs and STs registered on the rolls of 3rd respondent Corporation with experience in the interest of Justice and pass….” 3 Dr. YLR, J W.P.No.14668 of 2026 Dated 21.05.2026 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.3 to 5. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners, while seeking interim relief, submits that the petitioners have submitted representations dated 12.05.2026 and 13.04.2026. The said representations are required to be considered by respondent No.3 before opening the tenders, which process is going to take place on 22.05.2026, as per the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.3 to 5. 4. Indeed, the representations submitted by the petitioners dated 13.04.2026 and 12.05.2026 respectively, are required to be considered by respondent No.3 before finalization of the tenders. Having regard to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, the representations dated 13.04.2026 and 12.05.2026 shall be considered by respondent No.3, in accordance with law. 5. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
