CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J.
------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Sumir Prasad, Advocate For the respondent(s) : Mr. Om Prakash Tiwari, Advocate …...... 02/16.09.2026:
1. By filing this writ petition, the petitioner is challenging the notice dated 14.06.2026 issued under Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
2. I am not entering into the contention raised by the petitioner in this case particularly in view of the fact that the notice is under Section 11(1) of the aforesaid Act which is nothing but a preliminary notification showing intention to acquire that land so that no person can make any transaction or transact with the land in question and so that the record can be maintained and updated before issuing of a declaration under Section 19. If the petitioner has got any grievance, he may approach the appropriate authority as the rights and compensation of the petitioner cannot be decided at this stage.
3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
