Present petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking grant of anticipatory bail, in case, FIR No.0006, dated 13.01.2026, under Sections 318(4), 319 of BNS (corresponding to sections 420, 416 of IPC), registered at Police Station Cyber West, District Gurugram. 2. Brief facts of the case, as discussed in the order dated 19.06.2026, passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Gurugram (Annexure P-3), are reproduced here below, for reference:- “Facts relevant for the disposal of present bail application are that one complaint was received in the police station written by the complainant Karamvir stating that he was added in a whats group by Jainam Security customer care mobile no. 8296655833. She send him a link to download the app, from that link, he downloaded the Abp (JAINHNI). He chatted on whats app no. 9063769064 and 7550249375 regarding the stock market investment. From 23.11.2025 to 10.12.2025, he transferred total Rs.88.23 lacs to them. He pleaded for taking legal action against the culprits. On the abovesaid allegations, the formal FIR was registered and investigation was commenced. The details of bank records were obtained. It was revealed that Rs.4 lacs out of total sum of Rs.88,23,000/-has been transferred by the complainant in the account of accused Vikas Tiwari.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has appended screenshots from the petitioner's mobile phone, which, prima facie, indicate certain monetary transactions between the petitioner and the main accused-Vijay Yadav. Mere fact that petitioner is a BAMS student at the Patanjali Institute does not, by itself, establish his innocence or entitle him to the concession of anticipatory bail. 4. Cybercrimes of the present nature have become increasingly prevalent and have serious repercussions on society. Such offences require due consideration, and no undue leniency is warranted merely on the basis of the petitioner's status as a student. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the present case, no ground for grant of anticipatory bail is made out.
