ORAL ORDER
1. Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for respondent Nos.1 to 4. 2. Notice to respondent No.5 is dispensed with in view of the proposed ordered to be passed. 3. Petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a) Issue a Writ of mandamus directing the respondent No: 2 to consider the representation made by the petitioner No: 2 at ANNEXURE G dated 18-02-2026.
b) Issue a Writ of mandamus directing the respondent No : 3 to consider the representation made by the petitioner No : 2 at ANNEXURE H dated 18-02-2026. c) Further to issue such other directions to the respondent No: 2 to 4 to initiate criminal proceedings / action against the respondent No: 5. d) For such other writ or order as this Honorable Court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case. 4. The contention of the petitioners is that in respect of the land of petitioner No.1 there are certain documents which have been fabricated by

respondent No.5 by counterfeiting the seal of the Sub Registrar etc. 5. His submission is that the said fact has also been accepted by the Sub-Registrar inasmuch as the Sub- Registrar has issued an endorsement saying that there is no document registered with the Sub- Registrar as regards the document claimed to have been counterfeited. 6. The request now made vide the representation is for the Sub-Registrar to file a police complaint by initiating criminal action against respondent No.5. If the document relating to the property of the petitioners has been fabricated, it is for the petitioners to initiate such action as may be available under law. It cannot be expected for the Sub- Registrar to file criminal proceedings and prosecute those criminal proceedings. 7.
