Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 1 year 8 months. It has been submitted that there has been no progress in the case and similarly placed accused persons have been released on bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that it is the present petitioner who had borrowed money from the family of the complainant and on the ploy of returning the money, called the deceased and thereafter with the aid of different persons, the deceased was murdered. Having considered the pre-mediated set of mind of the accused which is distinguishable from the other accused persons, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. 2 The application for bail, being CRM (M) 930 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
