In this Writ Petition, petitioner is assailing the endorsement dated 01.03.2025(Annexure-G) issued by respondent No.1. 2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3. Perusal of the Writ Petition would indicate that the petitioner is claiming right over the property based on the registered Sale Deed dated 09.02.1996 and same has been - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:32270 WP No. 15649 of 2025 considered by the Assistant Commissioner, Bengaluru North Sub Division, Bengaluru, by the order dated 14.02.2024 as per Annexure-B to the Writ Petition. It is also noted from the Writ Petition that this Court, vide order dated 15.12.2025, directed the respondent No.1 to conduct the spot inspection and survey in respect of the land in question and to file a report in that regard and as such, learned Additional Government Advocate filed report dated 22.04.2026 along with sketch and the same is accepted. 4. Perusal of the report made by respondent No.1 would indicate that though the petitioner is claiming right over the property to an extent of 7 guntas in Sy.No.80/1 of Shettihalli Village, Yeshwantpur Hobli, Bengaluru North Taluk, however, the sketch produced would indicate that the petitioner is in possession of land to an extent of 51/4 gunas of land. In that view of the matter, looking into the endorsement dated 01.03.2025 at Annexure-G, since the respondent - authorities have filed the survey report stating that the petitioner is in possession of land to an extent of 51/4 guntas, I am of the view that, there is no impediment for the respondent - authorities - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:32270 WP No. 15649 of 2025 herein to conduct phodi in respect of the 51/4 guntas of land, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 5. In respect of the claim made by the petitioner in terms of the registered Sale Deed dated 09.02.1996, it is open for the petitioner to establish right over the remaining extent of land in a manner known to law. 6.
