This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the Petitioner/A.4, seeking bail, in Crime No.25/2026 of Khajipeta U/G Police Station, Kadapa District.
2. A case has been registered against the Petitioner/A.4 herein and other accused for the offences punishable under Sections 303(2), 132, 49, 61(2) r/w.3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 20(1)(d)(i)(a) r/w.Section 20(1)(c)(ii)(iii)(iv)(x), Section 36(a) r/w.32(A) of A.P. Forest (Amendment) Act, 2016, Rule 3 & 4 of A.P. Sandalwood and Red Sander Wood Transit Rules, 1969, Section 29(4)(i) of the A.P. Forest Amendment Act, 2016 and Section 3 of PDPP Act, 1984.
3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the matter had become infructuous, as the petitioner had been granted statutory bail by the trial Court.
4. Recording the same, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
