At the very outset, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are working with the Health Department. Initially, they were appointed to the post of Health Worker and were subsequently promoted to the post of Supervisor vide orders dated 24.07.2018, 26.09.2018, and 24.08.2021. He would further submit that subsequently, petitioners were promoted to the post of Block Expansion Training Officer (for short, "BETO"). He would submit that respondent No. 2 had given its consent for grant of pay scale of Rs.9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4,400, but said pay scale has not been granted to the petitioners till date. He would further contend that in terms of the Revision of Pay Rules, the petitioners are entitled to the said pay scale. 2. He would argue that the petitioners made representations before respondents No. 1 and 2, but till date no decision has been taken. He prayed that a direction may be issued to the respondent authorities to consider the claim of the petitioners pursuant to the recommendation made by respondent No. 2 within a stipulated period. 3. On the other hand, Mr. Kumrani, learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the State would submit that though a recommendation was made by respondent No. 2, which was forwarded to the respondent No. 1, but the same was turned down by the General Administration Departments. He would submit that this fact is evident from the note sheets annexed along with the return filed by the State. 4. Heard. 5. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioners are claiming pay scale of Rs.9300-34,800 with Grade Pay Rs.4400 in accordance with the Revision of Pay Rules, admissible to the post of BETO, and further they have already made representations before respondents No. 1 and 2, and no decision has been taken till date; both the petitions are hereby 6 disposed of, reserving liberty in favour of the petitioners to make fresh representation before respondent No. 1 within a period of 45 days and in turn, the authorities concerned are directed to consider and decide the same in an objective manner, preferably within a further period of 60 days. 6.
