Mr. D Upamanya, learned counsel appearing for the respondents Page No.# 2/2 has produced a speaking order dated 09.01.2026 in pursuant to order dated 08.08.2025 (supra) rejecting the claim of the petitioner and decided to fill up the vacant post of Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, Government Model College, Borkhola, Cachar through a fresh selection process in accordance with existing rules and guidelines. In view of the aforesaid, in the opinion of this court, the order dated 08.08.2025 passed in WP(C) 4468/2025 stands complied with. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed.
