GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE BALAJI MEDAMALLI WRIT PETITION NO: 14940/2026 ORDER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the petitioners seeking the following relief: “…to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of Vinukonda Police i.e., 4th respondent in interfering with petitioners the civil and family matters of the petitioners as illegal, arbitrary, violating Article 21 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the Vinukonda Police i.e., 4th respondent not to interfere in petitioners civil and family matters, and further direct them to provide protection to our persons and properties…” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the grievance of the petitioners is that the respondent-police are interfering with the civil and family matters of the petitioners and their family members without following the due process of law. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submitted that basing on the complaint in view of the death of the wife of the 1st petitioner on 12.03.2026, a case in Cr.No.56 of 2026 was registered under Section 194 of BNSS and it is also stated that except for the purpose of investigation in the said crime, the police are not interfering with either the civil disputes or family disputes of the petitioners. 4 5. On the other hand, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioner No.1 has made a complaint to the Superintendent of Police on 25.05.2026 through Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS), making certain allegations against his brother-in-law and father-in-law, in regard to execution of the alleged settlement deed dated 13.03.2026 and requested to direct the 3rd respondent to take appropriate and necessary action under the said complaint. 6. Recording the above submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the respondent No.3 is directed to consider the PGRS complaint dated 25.05.2026 made by the 1st petitioner and take necessary action, if required, strictly in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
