Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioner praying therein for the following reliefs: “a) For issuance a writ of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the Respondents to grant promotion to the Petitioner to the post of Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) with retrospective effect from February, 2023 the date on which the Petitioner first became eligible and the promotional process was initiated together with all consequential and monetary benefits, including notional fixation of pay, arrears of salary, and pensionary/retiral benefits computed on the basis of the promotional post; 2026:JHHC:27884 b) For issuance of a writ of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the Respondents to forthwith, and in any event before 30.09.2026, convene the Departmental Promotion Committee/Selection Committee meeting and complete the process of promotion of the Petitioner from the post of Mahila Paryavekshika to the post of Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), and to permit the Petitioner to assume charge of the said promotional post before her date of superannuation; c) For issuance a writ of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the Respondents to decide the Petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2026 (Annexure-15) within a time-bound period as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit;” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner is fully entitled for the prayer made in the instant writ application; however, in spite of repeated representations the grievance of the petitioner has not been redressed. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents fairly submits that since no counter affidavit has been filed; as such the petitioner may be directed to approach the concerned respondent by filing a fresh representation, who shall look into the matter so that the grievance of the petitioner can be redressed. 5. Having regard to the aforesaid submissions and without going into the merits of the case, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of by directing the respondent No.01 to look into the grievance of the petitioner by treating this writ application as representation and take a decision in the matter in accordance with law and applicable rules and regulations by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 06 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner and if the order is passed in favour of the petitioner, consequential benefits shall be extended to the petitioner within a further period of 02 weeks. The petitioner shall serve a copy of this writ application along with the relevant documents to the concerned respondent for convenience. 6. Pending I.A., if any, also stands closed.
