JUSTICE R.K. PATTANAIK Order No. ORDER 03.02.2026 01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2. Perused the Offence Report as at Annexure-1 dated 24th December, 2025. It is submitted that the petitioner has been summoned by the Forest Range Officer, Kashipur Section as per Annexure-2 to appear for the inquiry since, two numbers of leopard skin were seized from the accused persons named therein. The submission is that the petitioner is not responsible for the alleged mischief but apprehends arrest and remand in view of Annexure-2. Recorded the objection of the State. Since notice has been issued vide Annexure-2, the Court is of the view that the petitioner should respond to the same and to appear before the Forest Range Officer, Kashipur Section for the purpose of an inquiry but at the same time, he should be protected at least for a month thereafter. The ABLAPL is disposed of accordingly with the direction as aforesaid with an interim order against immediate arrest of the petitioner for the period stipulated. 3.
