This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 20.03.2025, passed in Writ Petition No. 03 of 2019 (S/B), “Dr. Lalita Prasad Joshi Vs. State of Uttarakhand and Others”. By the said order, following directions were issued:- “6……………Accordingly, we dispose of the writ petition by providing that if petitioner makes representation within three weeks from today, the Secretary, Higher Education Department shall re-examine the claim of petitioner, in the light of the discussion made above, and pass appropriate order, as per law, within four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The decision shall be taken by the Secretary, Higher Education Department, uninfluenced by any observation made in the impugned order dated 12.12.2018.” 2. Heard Mr. D.S. Mehta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Jagdish Singh Bisht, learned counsel for the respondent. 3. Mr. D.S. Mehta, Advocate, submitted on 1 2026:UHC:860 instructions that the said order dated 20.03.2025 has been complied with by the respondent. Therefore, the petitioner does not want to pursue the present contempt petition further. 4. For the foregoing reasons, this Contempt Petition does not require any further consideration.
