Patel, Advocate For Respondents : Mr. Aniket Verma, Advocate on behalf of Mr. Jitendra Pali, Advocate Hon’ble Shri Justice Rakesh Mohan Pandey Judgment On Board 10.7.2026 1) By way of this petition, the petitioner has sought following reliefs:- 10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the case of the Petitioner for its kind perusal. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Respondent authorities concerned to decide the representation dated 26.09.2016 (Annexure P-1), within stipulated period, in the interest of justice. 10.3 That, any other relief, this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper may also be granted to the Petitioner, in the interest of justice. 2) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that land belonging to petitioner’s family bearing Khasra No. 548 ad-measuring 0.23 acre situated at Village Barani, P.H. No. 45, Revenue Circle – Janjgir, Tehsil – Janjgir, District – Janjgir Champa was acquired by the respondents for developing ancillary facilities of power plant. He further submits that petitioner claimed appointment in lieu of land acquisition but till date no decision has been made and the representation made by petitioner in this regard has also not been decided till date. He prays for a direction to respondent authorities to decide the pending representation dated 26.9.2016 at the earliest. 3 3) On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondents would oppose. 4) Heard. 5) Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by Mr. Patel, this petition is hereby being disposed directing respondent No. 1 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner dated 26.9.2016 (Annexure P/1) strictly in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 120 days from today. 6) With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed.
