JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Senior Counsel Sri.V.Lakshminarayana appearing for the petitioner submits that in terms of the orders passed by the Special Deputy Commissioner in proceedings bearing No.RRT(2)CR-69/1996-97 dated 31.08.2015, wherein it was directed that the name of the legal heir of the original grantee Sri.Manjunath S/o. Chinnappa should be restored in the khata, the name of Sri.Manjunath was restored in the revenue records in terms of mutation order bearing MR No.T4/2020-21 dated 31.08.2015. Learned Senior Counsel submits that the petitioner has purchased the property in question from Sri.Manjunath S/o - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19503 WP No. 6975 of 2026 Chinnappa under registered sale deed dated 19.06.1997 as found at Annexure-D. In this regard, application has been given to the Tahsildar, Bangalore South Taluk as found at Annexure-K dated 14.01.2026 seeking to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records in terms of the registered sale deed. Learned Senior Counsel submits that necessary directions may be issued to respondent No.4-Tahsildar to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records within a time frame. 2. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of, with a direction to respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Bangalore South Taluk to consider the application given by the petitioner as found at Annexure-K dated 14.01.2026 and proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records on the strength of the registered sale deed dated 19.06.1997 as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
