JUSTICE RANJAN KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 2 20-07-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State. 2. The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in connection with Ekangarsarai, P.S. Case No. 48 of 2026, registered for the offence punishable under Section 126(2), 115(2), 109(1) and 3(5) of B.N.S. 3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that there was minor scuffle between both the parties on the eventful day on account of a long-standing dispute, in which petitioner no. 1 allegedly assaulted on the head of the informant's son, and petitioner no. 2 assaulted the brother-in-law of the informant while he was attempting to intervene. It is further submitted that there is a case and counter- case between the parties. Lastly, he submits that the nature of the injuries has been opined by the doctor to be simple in nature and the petitioners bear a clean antecedent. 5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. 6. Having considered the rival submissions of the parties, and taking into consideration the background of the case, the nature of the injuries being simple, the long-standing dispute, the existence of a counter-case, and the clean antecedent of the petitioners, let the petitioners above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of, A.C.J.M-I, Hilsa, Nalanda. rashmi/- (Ranjan Kumar Jha, J) U T
