By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide his pending representation dated 08.06.2026 (Annexure P/1) challenging his transfer. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as a Lecturer and was later promoted to the post of Principal at Government High School, Sitagaon, Block Manpur, District Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki (C.G.). He further submits that the petitioner's wife is also a government employee and is presently posted as a Lecturer at Government High School, Josinmati, Block Chhuriya, District Rajnandgaon, which is situated at a distance of about 150 kms from the petitioner's place of posting. He submits that the same is contrary to Clause 3.13 of the Transfer Policy, 2025 issued by the General Administration Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, which provides that, as far as possible, husband and wife should be posted at the same place. He further contends that the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 08.06.2026 (Annexure P/1) before the respondent authorities raising the aforesaid grievance; however, the same has not been considered till date. It is, therefore, contended that the respondent authorities be directed to consider and decide the petitioner's pending representation requesting the posting of the husband and wife at the same or a nearby place, in accordance with law. 3 3. Learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submits that if the petitioner files a fresh representation before the competent authority, the same shall be considered and decided, in accordance with law and the Transfer Policy, 2025, within the stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the prima facie grievance of the petitioner that his wife is also a government employee and is presently posted as a Lecturer at Government High School, Josinmati, Block Chhuriya, District Rajnandgaon, and taking into account the submission made by learned State counsel, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation before the concerned respondent authority. In the event of filing of such representation, the respondent authorities are directed to consider and decide the same, strictly in accordance with law and Clause 3.13 of the Transfer Policy, 2025, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of its submission. 6.
