Instant petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner in connection with Balasore Vigilance P.S. Case No.68 of 2017 corresponding to VG.R. Case No.22 of 2017 (T.C. No.09/2026) pending in the file of learned Special Judge (Vigilance), Baripada, Mayurbhanj on the grounds stated therein. 3. Recorded the submissions of learned counsel for the respective parties and gone through the FIR as at Annexure-1. The chargesheet is filed in the meantime, a copy of which is at Annexure-2. The report is of the year 2017. With the closure of the investigation, the chargesheet is filed in the year 2025. Recorded the submission of Mr. Rizvi, learned counsel for the Vigilance Department and also Mr. Biswal, learned counsel for the petitioner. Considering the fact that the investigation is completed, this Court is inclined to direct the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below for being released with suitable conditions though his bail plea is not entertained. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, the ABLAPL is disposed of. It is directed that in the event, the petitioner surrenders before the learned Special Judge (Vigilance), Baripada, Mayurbhanj in connection with Balasore Vigilance P.S. Case No.68 of 2017 corresponding to VG.R. Case No.22 of 2017 (T.C. No.09/2026) within a fortnight from today, he shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bail bond of Rs.40,000/- (rupees forty thousand only) with one solvent surety for the like amount and such other terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. 6.
