The petitioner, in this writ petition, prays for following relief:- “1. For issuance of writ(s)/Order(s)/Direction(s) in the nature of mandamus directing upon the respondent no.3 Balumath to expedite the representation of the petitioner (Annexure-4) which has been duly received in the office of the Circle Officer Balumath on 28.02.2026 in connection with issuance of on-line rent receipt with respect to Thana No.55 Khata No.175 and Plot No.321 area 2 acre 5 decimal and khata No.321 plot No.6 acre 50 decimal and Khata No.152 plot No.4 acre 59 decimal total area 13 acres 58 decimal which are ordered in the name of husband of the petitioner by the Revenue officer, Latehar, in Revenue Case No.3048/1990 vide its order dated 07.11.2008. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that suffice it would be if a direction is given to the respondents to dispose of the application of the petitioner. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits if the matter is still pending, appropriate order will be passed as per law, considering the records. 5. After hearing the parties, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Circle Officer, Balumath, 2026:JHHC:27919 Page | 2 respondent No.3, within four weeks. On receipt of the said representation, the case of the petitioner will be considered by the Circle Officer, Balumath within a period of eight weeks. If it is found that the petitioner’s claim is genuine, appropriate action will be taken. 6. If the claim of the petitioner is rejected, reasoned order will be communicated to her within the aforesaid period. 7. With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition stands disposed of.
