The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226/227 of the constitution of India read with Section 5 of the Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 2022 seeking issuance of directions to official respondents to adjudicate upon the emergency parole application of the petitioner dated 18.06.2026 (Annexure P-1) 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has recently filed a representation on 18.06.2026 (Annexure P-1) before respondent No.4-Superintendent of Jail, District Jail, Karnal, raising his grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereon.
