The petitioner is an accused in connection with Hariharpur P.S. Case No. 11 of 2026. The petitioner is alleged to have established physical relationship with the informant about five months back. The petitioner used to gift valuables to the informant. On a pressure created by the accused persons, the valuables were returned. It has been alleged that the petitioner has been demanding return of the mobile which has evidence against him. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there has been an inordinate delay in institution of the First Information Report. Learned counsel submits that the gifts given by the petitioner were accepted by the informant which would indicate that there was a love affair between the petitioner and the informant. It has also been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 12.02.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the entire scenario as depicted in the First Information Report which does indicate about a love affair between the petitioner and the victim, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dhanbad in connection with Hariharpur P.S.
