JUSTICE ANUROOP SINGHI Order 09/03/2026 Learned counsel for the petitioners, at the very outset, submits that the appeal filed by the petitioner(s) on 02.11.2020, [2026:RJ-JP:9920] (2 of 2) [CW-924/2026] being appeal No.317/2020, against the order No.4782 dated 13.10.2020, is still pending before the Divisional Commissioner, Bharatpur, and has not been decided till date. In the meanwhile, the respondents are proceeding ahead with the construction of Panchayat Bhavan on Charagah Land and thus, the learned Divisional Commissioner be directed to decide the appeal of the petitioner(s) expeditiously. Taking note of the above facts and without delving into the merits of the matter, since the appeal No.317/2020 filed by the petitioner(s) is still pending before the Divisional Commissioner, Bharatpur, for last more than five years, in the event of any application being filed by the petitioner(s) along with certified copy of this order, before the Divisional Commissioner, Bharatpur, seeking expeditious disposal of the appeal within a period of ten days from today, i.e., 09.03.2026, the same be considered in accordance with law and the appeal itself be decided within a period of two weeks thereafter, strictly in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order after granting opportunity of hearing to the petitioner(s). With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of. Needless to say, this order has been passed only to decide the petitioner’s appeal strictly in accordance with law and in no manner is to be construed as a direction to decide the said appeal in a particular manner.
