GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: 3 O R D E R The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeing the following relief: “to issue an appropriate writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus A) To declare the actions of the 4th to 5th respondents were illegal and arbitrary and contrary to the law and violation of Article 21 and article 14 of Constitution of India and also B) To direct the 3rd respondent to take necessary action against 4 to 5th respondents for their illegal actions against myself and my son C) And consequently direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation to the petitioner dated 10-04-2026. and to pass other orders…” 2. Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, representing Respondent Nos.1, 3, 4 and 5. 3. The petitioners’ grievance is that respondent Nos.4 and 5 unnecessarily calling the petitioners to the police station without either issuing a notice or initiating any proceedings under law. 4. During the course of hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for home, on written instructions dated 14.05.2026, submits that, the police officials of Sarpavaram Police Station acted only according to law and never interfered in the civil dispute between private parties. The allegation that the police attempted settlement or interfered in civil rights is false. Except making allegations in the affidavit, that the petitioners did not produce any document to show that they were called by police, the police visited their residence and their rights were violated. 4 5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities not to interfere with the petitioners’ daily life and personal liberty, except by following due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
