The petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: "i) Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari by quashing the notice dtd:26.6.2024 in No.L.N.D.Mis/C.R.133/2024-25 issued by the 3rd Respondent vide Annexure-E. ii) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, order or directing that the 3rd and 4th Respondents, not to enter upon and formed any road on/through the land bearing Sy.No.17/1 measuring 4Acres 20 Guntas situated at Munuganahalli Village, Bilikere Hobli, Hunsur Taluk, Mysuru District. iii) Pass any other order or direction as deems fit in the circumstances of the case." 2. What is essentially being challenged is a show cause notice dated 26.06.2024. 3. The submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that though a show cause notice had been issued, on the very next day, the respondents had tried to form a road, which they were unsuccessful on account of the petitioner preventing them from doing so. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:33179 WP No. 18504 of 2024 4. His submission now is that a reply to the show cause notice would be submitted within 15 days from today i.e. on or before 20.07.2026. 5. If such a reply is submitted by the petitioners, the respondents are directed to consider the said reply and pass necessary orders within 30 days thereafter. 6. Needless to say, until then, the respondents cannot take any coercive steps against the petitioner. 7. With the above observations, the petition stands disposed.
