IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH **** 168 CR-3133-2026 (O&M) Date of decision: 06.07.2026 Raj Kumar Gupta and another . . . . Petitioners Vs. Shri Raghunath Mandir Society (Regd.) . . . Respondent **** CORAM: HON’BLE MR JUSTICE DEEPAK GUPTA **** Present: - None for the petitioners. Mr.Aayush Gupta, Advocate, for the respondent. **** DEEPAK GUPTA, J. (ORAL) On the previous date of hearing, the following order was passed: - “At the outset, counsel for the petitioners concedes that after filing of the present revision petition, the possession has already been handed over to the respondent - landlord in the execution as filed by the respondent. However, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he wants to pursue the present petition and that in case, the present petition is allowed, he will pray this Court for restoration of the possession. Adjourned to 06.07.2026 for arguments on merits.” 2. Today nobody is appearing on behalf of the petitioners. It appears that after handing the possession of the demised premises to the respondent, petitioners have lost interest and so no longer interested in pursuing the petition. 3. According, the petition is dismissed in default for want of prosecution.
