O R D E R 28-04-2026 Present Mr. Juno Rahman, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr. Y. Nirmolchand, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Y. Nikhil, learned counsel for respondent No. 2; and Mr. R.K. Umakanta, learned Government Advocate assisted by Mr. Y. Robert, learned Dy. Government Advocate for respondent No. 1. Mr. Y. Nirmolchand, learned senior counsel for respondent No. 2, submits that the direction of this Court in the order dated 14-10-2024 in WP(C) No. 38 of 2024 has been complied by an order dated 15-12-2025 issued by the Commissioner (Home), Government of Manipur. It is stated that the contempt petition may be closed as the direction has already been complied. Mr. Juno Rahman, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the contempt petition may be closed as the direction is complied although belatedly. Recording the submissions made at the Bar, the contempt petition, i.e. CONT. CAS(C) No. 20 of 2025 is closed as infructuous and MC(CONT. CAS(C)) No. 21 of 2026 is also disposed of.
