Petitioner is serving as Assistant Professor (Sanskrit) at Government College Chamba. His case is that on account of certain domestic issues as also on account of his mother’s serious sickness, he preferred a representation on 13.07.2026 (Annexure P-4) to respondent No.1, seeking transfer to a place of his preference in view of his adverse 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Petitioner’s grievance is that he has even otherwise completed more than the requisite tenure at his present place of posting, however, his aforesaid representation has not been decided by the respondents till date. 3. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.1/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law and keeping in view the applicable transfer policy, within a period of two weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
