Learned counsel for the respondents submits that if the petitioner approaches the passport authorities, appropriate action would be taken for renewal of the passport. 4. Hence, the petitioner is directed to approach the passport authorities along with a copy of this order. Upon such approach, the passport authorities shall process the petitioner’s application for renewal of the passport in accordance with law. 4 5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
