Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners submits that vide appointment orders issued in the year 2013 (Annexure P-2), the Petitioners were appointed on the post of Peon as Contingency Paid Class-IV employees under the respondent departments. Thereafter, the services of the Petitioners were regularized in the year 2016 and since then they are discharging their duties sincerely without any complaint. Learned Counsel further submits that the Respondent authorities have granted the benefit of revised pay scale of Rs.4750-7440 + Grade Pay Rs.1300/- to the Petitioners on completion of three years of service vide order dated 20.09.2021 &09.11.2022 (Annexure P-3). However, though the Petitioners are getting salary as per the revised pay scale, the arrears of revised pay scale for the period from the year 2016 to 2021-22 have not been paid to them. He further submits that the Petitioners have already submitted representations before the Respondent authorities for grant of arrears of revised pay scale for the aforesaid period, but the same have not been considered till date. Therefore, it is prayed that the instant petition may be disposed of giving liberty to the Petitioners to file a fresh representation before the Respondent/competent authority raising 3 all grounds which they have raised in the instant petition and after filing such representation, the Respondent/competent authority may be directed to consider and decide the same expeditiously and any outer limit may also be fixed by this Court for the aforesaid purpose. 2. Learned Counsel appearing for the State does not oppose the limited prayer made by learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners. 3. I have heard learned Counsel appearing for the parties. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned Counsel appearing for the parties, without entering into the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of giving liberty to the Petitioners to file a fresh representation before the Respondent/competent authority raising all grounds which they have mentioned in the instant petition within a period of three weeks from today. Thereafter, the Respondent/competent authority is directed to consider and decide the said representation expeditiously, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of such representation, in accordance with the relevant rules and law. 5.
