By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks quashment of the transfer order dated 11.06.2026 (Annexure P-4), whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Somni Distribution Centre, Division Rajnandgaon, to Bodla Distribution Centre, Division Pandariya. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has challenged the transfer order dated 11.06.2026, whereby he has been transferred from Somni Distribution Centre to Bodla Distribution Centre within a short span of about one and a half years of his present posting. He submits that the wife of the petitioner is also serving under the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd. (CSPDCL) as a Data Entry Operator at Rajnandgaon and, therefore, the impugned transfer is contrary to Clause 1.5 of the Chhattisgarh State Power Companies Transfer Policy, 2018, which provides that, as far as possible, husband and wife should be posted at the same station. He further submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 12.06.2026 (Annexure P/8) before respondent No.3 raising the aforesaid grievance, but the same has not been considered till date. It is, therefore, contended that the impugned transfer order 3 is arbitrary and the respondent authorities be directed to consider and decide the petitioner's pending representation in accordance with law. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submits that Clause 1.5 of the Transfer Policy, 2018 provides that, upon a request being made by an employee, the Electricity Companies shall consider the same and make all possible efforts to post the husband and wife at the same place, subject to administrative exigencies. He further submits that if the representation dated 12.06.2026 (Annexure P-8) submitted by the petitioner is still pending consideration, the same shall be considered and decided, in accordance with law and the Transfer Policy, 2018, within a stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the prima facie grievance of the petitioner that his wife is also serving under the respondent Company as a Data Entry Operator at Rajnandgaon, and taking into account the submission made by learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the pending representation dated 12.06.2026 (Annexure P- 8) submitted by the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law and 4 the Transfer Policy, 2018, preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
