ISSUE a writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing the Order dated 09.06.2026 passed by the XXIX Addl. City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru (CCH-30) in A.A. No.9/2026 (Annexure A); b. ISSUE a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the XXIX Addl. City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru (CCH-30) to expeditiously consider and dispose of A.A. No.9/2026; c. ISSUE any other writ, order or direction as this Hon'ble Court deems fit so as to meet the ends of justice and equity. 3. Sri Arun Kumar K., learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he would not press for prayer "(a)". Insofar as prayer "(b)" is concerned, the said prayer relates to the issuance of a - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:32635 WP No. 19467 of 2026 mandamus to a Court to dispose of the pending proceeding in A.A.No.9/2026. 4. The said proceedings having been filed for the extension of time for which the learned arbitrator to pass an award under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short, "Act"). It is for the Court to consider and pass necessary orders in terms of the timelines prescribed under Section 29A of the Act. As such, a mandamus as sought for cannot be issued. 5.
