102-2 RA-CW-118-2026 in CWP-5699-2024 UTTAR HARYANA BIJLI VITTRAN NIGAM AND ANOTHER V/S ROHTASH AND ANOTHER Present:- Mr. Harkirat Singh, Advocate for Mr. Vikram Singh, Advocate for the review applicant-respondent No.1. **** Prayer in the application is for recall of order dated 04.02.2026 passed by this Court, whereby writ petition was allowed and the impugned award passed by the Permanent Lok Adalat was set aside. Counsel for the review applicant-respondent No.1 states that the writ petition was allowed on the basis of a judgment passed by this Court in Raj Kapoor and others Versus Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and others, 2026 (1) R.C.R. (Civil) 795, wherein the issue involved was as to whether the Permanent Lok Adalat has the jurisdiction to award compensation on account of death or bodily injury caused due to electrocution. Counsel points out that although challenge in the instant petition is to an award passed by the Permanent Lok Adalat, but the issue involved is regarding excess electricity charges demanded by the petitioners. Issue notice of the application to the non-review applicants/petitioners. Mr. R.S.Longia, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of non-review applicants/petitioners. He is not in a position to deny that the dispute involved in the petition is entirely different. In view thereof, order dated 04.02.2026 passed in CWP-5699-2024 is recalled. Writ petition is restored to its original number and is ordered to be listed as per Roster. 03.07.2026 ( SUVIR SEHGAL ) kamal
