Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that from a vehicle 37.800 kgs. of ganja was recovered. Petitioners were inside the vehicle and are in custody for 1 year 2 months. Some of the accused persons are absconding. As such there is no progress in the case. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that efforts are being exerted for splitting up the trial by the prosecution. Having regard to the quantum of seizure of contraband, I direct the learned Trial Court to exhaust the process of law, split up the trial and proceed with the case as expeditiously as possible. 2 At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected. Petitioners will approach this Court for renewal of prayer for bail after the evidence of seizure list witnesses is over. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1692 of 2025, is, thus, disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
