JUSTICE V SRISHANANDA - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19285 CRL.RP No. 1150 of 2022 ORAL ORDER After addressing the arguments for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner files a memo which reads as under: "The counsel for the petitioner herewith submits that the petitioner has deposited Rs.12,50,000/- (Twelve Lakh Fifty Thousand) and balance Rs.12,50,000/- (Twelve Lakh Fifty Thousand) shall be paid within four (4) months from this day. Hence the memo may be taken on record in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Learned counsel for the respondent has endorsed no objection on the memo. 3. Placing the memo on record, following order is passed: ORDER [a] Petition stands disposed of in terms of the memo. [b] The amount in deposit is ordered to be withdrawn by the respondent - complainant under due identification, if not already withdrawn. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19285 CRL.RP No. 1150 of 2022 [c] It is made clear that if there is any default in payment of compensation amount, the petitioner shall undergo imprisonment as ordered by the trial Magistrate confirmed by the first appellate Court.
